Our
Story

CLS was founded in March 2014 by Conor Sweeney. Passionate about catering for Accountants, Solicitors, Tax Advisors and companies directly, Conor and Amy having worked in the areas of company law and company secretarial for many years, saw the opportunity in offering a unique service using their very different but complimentary skillsets. Their vision was for an independent company secretarial firm that not only offered expert and reliable solutions, but was committed to tailored solutions and prioritised the personal touch.

CLS’s successive milestones include the continued expansion of the team, the launch of their industry-leading newsletter and the relocation to larger offices opposite the CRO in Carlow.  Over the years, CLS has shaped itself in response to client’s needs, changes in the law and the challenges of the business world.

Now thriving after over six years in business, CLS also features prominently at a national level with Conor’s influential position as an distinguished CPD presenter and spokesperson in company secretarial and company law.

CLS is a member of the ICSA: The Governance Institution (ICSA) with four of our team qualified ICSA Chartered Secretaries.
