Tips and Pointers for Filing Annual Returns at the Busy Filing Season

Chartered Accountants Ireland recently published an article that we contributed to on Tips and Pointers for Filing Annual Returns at the Busy Filing Season.

As mentioned in the article the CRO have reminded presenters using Company Secretarial software that the annual return has be received on their system before the filing deadline and any delay may deem the annual return to be late.

Filing as early as possible to avoid any last-minute issues and making sure the signature pages are uploaded before the filing deadline are encouraged as October and November are the busiest months for filing each year.

Companies are also reminded that board meetings should be held to approve the financial statements and an AGM be held or written resolution should be passed by the members to dispense with holding the AGM (all LTD and single member companies).
